BROADCAST JOURNALISM I : Radio/TV Announcing

This course covers the basics of radio and television announcing and TV anchoring. Fundamentals of speech and diction are taught, as well as reading for the camera plus interviewing techniques; Students will learn and evaluate renowned television news broadcast and interview shows so they can write and announce their own news stories or stories given by the director/teacher.

 BROADCAST JOURNALISM II : TV Production

This course introduces the styles, formats and production techniques of television journalism, it covers the essential components of TV broadcast production including the use of microphones, cameras, switchers and lighting equipment and subtitling & editing software. Students gain practical experience and participate in producing TV shows in the studio and with segments produced outside the studio. Publish the multimedia work on a blog/Web site.
